Winners are grinners! Yellow Tail champagne from the Hoopla
I went the post office last Friday with my favourite sister in law, and I have six of them – ( sisters in law that is)
We both had parcels to pick up at the parcel post window and were chatting away – I received an Akubra Hat sent to me by Tourism NT to participate the Great HATYAK. – How come I always get these sorts of jobs?
Jo picked up the little box and said – “Geez this heavy – what could it be? Oh it feels like a set of horse shoes – Why would Sam (husband) be ordering horse shoes from down south?’
‘Oh maybe he wanted a special set’ I say laughing loudly – not for a minute thinking that Sam would order a pair of horse shoes from down south unless he had a horse racing in the Melbourne Cup.
We, Jo, me and the lady at the Post Office are looking with great intrigue as Jo opens the heavy little brown box at the Post Office Window.
‘Oooohhh – looks like bottles of Bubble Bath.’ says the lady at the window.
‘Who on earth would be sending me bottles of Bubble Bath?’ Asks Jo – who is definitely not a bubble bath sort of woman.
‘Agghhhh’ – She screams ‘It’s three bottles of Yellow Tail Champagne — OOOhhh I won three bottles of Champagne in The Hoopla competition on line. ‘
I headed home with orders to put them in the freezer for a quick chill, while Jo popped into the local Supermarket to buy some cheese and bikkies.
What a lovely surprise – We laughed and laughed and laughed as we enjoyed the three little bottles of Yellow Tail. The Moscato was a little too sweet – the other two were YUMMMO.
How uncanny is this – that Hoopla comes in little bottles of champagne to outback Katherine. A pre Melbourne Cup celebration.
Heres hoping our luck holds out for a big win tomorrow. And heres to you Wendy Harmer, The Hoopla and Yellow Tail, we will have a glass of bubbles, Yellow Tail of course, for you here in Katherine NT for the Cup.
And we will also be entering all the competitions for the Freebies on The Hoopla.
